Job Summary
The Uganda Heart Institute (UHI), an autonomous government entity mandated to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases in Uganda, invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill various vacancies across its clinical, research, public health, nursing, finance, administration, and technical support departments.
The Institute seeks competent, committed, and qualified professionals to strengthen its human resource capacity and support the delivery of specialized cardiovascular healthcare services. Available opportunities range from specialist medical and surgical positions to nursing, laboratory services, research management, public health, finance and administration, engineering, security, and customer service.

Qualifications and Experience
Requirements vary depending on the position. Applicants must possess the relevant academic qualifications, professional registration, valid practising licences where applicable, and experience specified for their desired role. Positions range from support-level opportunities requiring basic education or relevant certificates to specialist and senior professional roles requiring advanced degrees, professional qualifications, fellowships, or substantial relevant experience.
