Hariss International Limited is seeking a skilled Shift Mechanical Artisan to support the maintenance, repair, and reliable operation of production machinery and plant equipment. The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and support general facility maintenance to minimize production downtime and maintain workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and plant equipment.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and conduct scheduled maintenance during machine servicing.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to determine maintenance requirements.
Diagnose faults, replace or repair defective components, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
Perform basic machining, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance tasks.
Operate hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment safely.
Identify defective materials, faulty operations, and unusual equipment conditions, reporting them to the appropriate supervisor.
Assess work orders and determine the parts, equipment, and services required for repairs.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
A diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
Knowledge of boilers, pipe fitting, and welding.
At least two years of experience in a similar role within a busy working environment.
Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
