Description
DHL International Uganda Limited Team is hiring a Fixed Term Lead Qualifier responsible for identifying, screening, and qualifying potential customers to ensure that high-quality sales opportunities are passed on to the sales team. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead assessment, customer engagement, database management, and supporting revenue growth by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
Report to: Commercial Manager
What You Will Do
Review inbound and outbound sales leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and other channels.
Quality leads against predefined criteria and sales standards.
Schedule meetings or hand overqualified prospects to the sales team.
Conduct introductory calls to understand customer requirements, build positive relationships with prospects, and maintain regular follow-up.
Address initial customer inquiries professionally and promptly and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Track lead status and progression through the sales funnel.
Ensure timely follow-up and nurturing of leads.
Generate reports on leads, conversions, and pipeline activity and offer administrative support to the commercial team.
Support marketing campaigns by providing customer insights and feedback and escalating timely where necessary.
Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams and all departments to ensure timely customer support.

CRM and sales analytics proficiency.
Time management and organizational, negotiation and influencing skills.
Attention to detail and data accuracy, customer-focused mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
2-4 years’ experience in sales support, lead generation, telemarketing, or business development.
