Softcare Uganda Limited is looking for a competent, organized, and results-oriented Warehouse Manager to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
Manage receiving, storage, picking, loading and dispatch of goods.
Ensure accurate inventory records and regular stock counts.
Supervise and manage warehouse staff and casual workers.
Ensure proper arrangement, identification and safe storage of materials.
Monitor stock levels and minimize stock losses, damages and discrepancies.
Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales and Logistics teams.
Prepare and submit accurate warehouse and inventory reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and warehouse procedures.
Improve warehouse efficiency and ensure timely movement of materials and finished products.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse management.
Proven experience in inventory and stock management.
Experience supervising warehouse teams and casual workers.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and stock control procedures.
Good computer skills, particularly in Excel and warehouse/inventory systems.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
