Abryanz is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance & Admin Officer to manage bookkeeping, cash reconciliation, statutory compliance, payroll, and basic human resource administration.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cloud accounting system, including the chart of accounts, supplier bills, and bank/mobile money reconciliations.
Reconcile daily cash, card, and mobile money till reports against POS Z-reports and bank deposits.
Manage EFRIS-compliant invoicing and receipting, as well as monthly URA tax filings, liaising with an external accountant or tax adviser when necessary.
Process payroll, staff contracts, leave records, and statutory deductions, including NSSF and PAYE.
Track trading and liquor licences, as well as insurance renewals.
Prepare weekly cash-flow and sales summaries for the Founder & CEO and Store Manager.
Manage supplier payment terms and petty cash.
Qualifications and Experience
An accounting or finance qualification, or strong bookkeeping experience, such as CPA part-qualified status or a diploma in accounting.
Working knowledge of URA processes and EFRIS, or willingness to learn quickly.
High levels of accuracy, discretion, and integrity, particularly in handling cash reconciliation and payroll.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Key Performance Expectations
Complete month-end accounts and EFRIS/VAT filings within statutory deadlines.
Complete daily cash, POS, and bank reconciliations on the same day, with no unresolved variances beyond 48 hours.
Process payroll accurately and on time during every payroll cycle.
Ensure licences and insurance renewals are tracked and completed without lapses.
